Senior Software Engineer, Backend

OnLoop is looking for amazing software engineers to continue building out our one-of-a-kind, mobile native product to reinvent how hybrid teams are assessed and developed in this new post-pandemic normal. Our founders were tired of the time-consuming yet biased and anxiety riddled traditional approaches to performance management to abolish an archaic industry and replace it with something new — Collaborative Team Development (CTD). 

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative cross-functional agile team that includes frontend and backend engineers, design and product owners. Minimum Requirements

Strong industry experience using the following technologies:

• At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Node.js, specifically Express framework
• Experience with Firebase
• Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS or Microsoft Azure experience
• Experience building APIs for mobile and web applications
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable and high performance systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with server-side security best practices
• Familiar with DevOps roles
• Experience with CI/CD processes
• Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Launched at least 1 production-level system and/or helped scale an existing backend to enterprise-grade traffic.
