Incorporating OnLoop into his daily routine as a mindfulness tool, Muhammad Zahari sets the stage for a productive tomorrow. He maximises the benefits of OnLoop by embracing vulnerability, sharing goals, and unlocking its full potential.

We had the opportunity to speak with Muhammad Zahari about his utilization of OnLoop. Let's delve into his valuable insights and gain firsthand knowledge from his experiences.

Can you share a bit more about your background and your role in SNDGO?

I am a Design Thinking evangelist and co-founder of 3 startups (my children) that I hope become unicorns someday. Prior to joining SNDGO, I was a career police officer before turning in the uniform for post-its and business canvasses and joining a fintech unicorn doing business strategy. I’ve since boomeranged back to public service and now I’m doing strategy and industry work at SNDGO as part of the National AI Office.

What are challenges/pain points before using OnLoop

Initially, I had my reservations about using OnLoop. I felt that it was going to take time away from me. But now that I’ve been using it regularly, I feel that it is really good in terms of helping me track my personal and professional journey and goals as well as ensuring that I take the time (it’s doesn’t that much time!) to record my appreciation to those around me. It’s also really easy for me to get some feedback from my colleagues.

How does OnLoop fit into your routine, ensuring you get the most out of it?

I use OnLoop as a mindfulness tool, so before I go to bed, I would reflect on the past day and note down things/people that I am grateful for. Good or bad, there’s always something to be grateful for. And then I’ll review my workplans for the coming day against the targets I’ve set. I also include some personal goals as well so that it’s not just about work.

Can you share any tips for others to maximize the benefits of OnLoop?

Because it’s technically meant to help with performance reviews, one might be tempted to only input the best things or outcomes. But that’s what social media is for, right? So, I think to really reap the maximum benefits of OnLoop, you have to treat it as a buddy that helps to keep you accountable. You share with it your thoughts, your peaks, and your vulnerable lows. Let it figure out what are some relevant content that can help you. And then, over time review how things have progressed for you. You’d be surprised at how much you’ve grown and weathered. And no cap, don’t just make it about work.

Congratulations to Muhammad Zahari for his outstanding achievements and for being an inspiration to the OnLoop community. Stay tuned for more success stories from our OnLoop Olympics participants as we celebrate their continuous growth and success. Together, we can unlock the full potential of feedback and drive continuous growth.
